Drawn from our well
established Rail Induction and 100 Basic Principles courses, this
course is aimed specifically at those new to the rail industry
whether as engineers, managers or administrators.
Course delivery is enhanced by photographs and
diagrams from our library and use of our model railway for
demonstrations of equipment and operations.
Objectives

To enable delegates to obtain a basic introductory knowledge of
railways with which they will be equipped to converse and deal with
other rail suppliers and clients.

syndicate work and practical demonstrations on our training model
used to build up the knowledge base required. This is supported by a
comprehensive illustrated manual which forms an excellent
post-training reference book.
The training will be consolidated with case studies and
syndicate exercises, using the model, to apply the learning to a
realistic situation.
The 100 Basic Principles course features a one hour closed book
examination.
